HISTORICAL MAGAR CULTURAL MUSEUM

Although our country Nepal is a socio-cultural and geographically diversificated state with the existence of various religious, tribal, cultural and social practise tradition, rites and ritual phenomenan but all caste, language and culture have not been afforded equal oppertunity, reverence and conservation . As the result original art and culture of various tribes are in rapid pace of extinction. Though our country is small but our country is full of many caste and creeds with their respective custom,culutre and tradition.
Magar falls in mongolian race. Its said that magar was apart from china. Hundreds of years ago western part of Nepal was ruled by magar empire. It was full of magar residence and was called "Magarat chhetra" i.e magar's empire.

They have their own custom, language and religion. They have different festival. They have their own lifestyle. Then slowly either by family problem or to live people slowly migrated towards different parts of Nepal. Later it scattered from east to west all over Nepal. Since then culture came into extinction. Magar people themselves stopped to follow thier traditional culture. It seemed they had forgotten their history and followed western culture. In no time it harshed magarat culture. Now we can state its in terrible condition. If none would apply certain proper way for conservation it would rarely saved.
